How many have kids starting school this year? I know this is a school topic but wanted to post it here..... My son is suppose to start at Legacy in August but we are moving a few months after so I am considering just putting him in the public school. Where are your kids going??? I am in Desert Passage

my DD is repeating kinder up at kyrene de los lagos&my DS is stating 1st grade at kyrene de los lagos. august 4th cant get here fast enough hehe

they are actually riding the bus, no way would i drive them...lol we have a 7 month old so the 2 6 yr olds make a lot of noise&wake her up from her naps so yeah i need them in school plus they are driving each other crazy

My son will be going to Butterfield. He was in the preschool program at Santa Rosa for the last year and a half and LOVED IT. I know people like to rip MUSD on this site a lot, but he hasn't had any problems here. The teachers he has had have always been very easy to communicate with and he has enjoyed it immensely. As a matter of fact, he went to summer school, and every time I picked him up, he was mad because the day was so short!

my DD liked SR too when he went to their pre-k. i think MUSD is improving, i give them credit for hanging in there&slowly improving things. sighs i wish MUSD was a carbon copy of KSD but KSD took time to get to where it is & i believe MUSD will get there eventually too

My daughter was an early starter at Pima Butte as she has a late Nov. birthday. She did great, I have nothing but great things to say!

I always wonder why people say the "hate" the Principals at schools here....Why re you talking to the Principle? Are your kids having that big of issues that your going to the Principle? just saying. I understand some Teachers can be a pain but at the same time if your nice & not rude coming in their usually able to help. I gave my e mail address to my DS' Teacher last year & we had a good experience working together & my DS knew his Teacher & I had 24/7 contact through e mail if needed.

My son was enrolled at Legacy and on Friday I pulled him out and enrolled him at Saddleback. I just couldn't deal with all they lies and deception. Everyone I met at Saddleback was very nice and now my only concern is how my little boy is going to make it in Kindergarten (I'm so worried about him finding his classroom OK and taking the bus)LOL.
