FWY:statistcally home break ins happen between 11am-4pm in the dayight. Most car break ins happen at the Mall or at your place of work-again during the day. That said I still leave my lights on but not for the crook deterant but if someone knocks on my door. That way I can look out the peep hole and decide to not open the door- I should note that I dont open my door to anyone-I better be expecting you otherwise I wont do it!

That's the main reason I like mine on. I can see who is outside if someone comes knocking. It's hard to pretend you're not home when you turn the porch light on to see who is out there and then realize it is someone you don't want to open the door too.

Lights won't stop anyone from breaking into your home if they want to they just will. And Stinkerbell is right most break ins are during the day when people are at work. We leave our lights off at night. Someone wants to break in they are going to eat some lead.

It's also for the safety of your neighborhood. You can't see what's going on in the front of your neighbors house if they don't have their lights on.

Remember neighbors are the first line of defense in community safety. If everyone would turn their coach lights on it would help everyone to notice anything bad going on.

In most cases neighbors are the perpatraitors.

It is not like there is a bus in Mesa that picks up criminals and then they drive to Maricopa to break into your house cause your lights are not on.

Ride it like you stole it!
