Is anyone in Homestead missing some RED or BLACK cans of spray paint? If you are, you should know someone took it and spray painted all over the walls along D.R. Horton Drive and the basketball court. You can also thank this person for STEALING the INFANT swing from the park on D.R. Horton Drive. Lets help the police keep an eye out for these hoodlums! I want to say they are the same people who are vandalizing the park on Ben St.

i dont know anything about the paint, but i do know about the infant swing. the swing was cut down on saturday january 12th, by the local fire department. some girl (mustve been around 10 or so) tried to get in it and swing. she got stuck. they had to cut the swing down and cut her out of it. I was there and watched it all. you can thank her parent(s) who were there, and let it all happen.

I can attest to trfsrfr about the missing swing...Hubby was there and saw the whole thing...thid dad put his "little" girl in the swing and she got stuck. They had to call the fire dept to cut her down and out of the swing...I hope they bill this dad for his stupidity!!

Okay...I feel a little better about the where abouts of the swing. Although that parent probably deserves a Darwin Award. Things that make you go hmmm... But still...there is graffiti all over the walls there. There is no excuse for that. Thanks for filling me in on the swing.

hey stinkerbell, i think i met your husband that day. sorry i dont remember his name. but i do remember his comments about the whole thing. it was kinda comical. and as far as the graffitti, man i hate that crap. what better way to trash out anything than by having some ignorant punk put that s**t on our park. I tell you, if i ever catch one of these idiot punks doing that...............man i dont know what i would do. I HATE THAT CRAP!

Was just reading this about the whole swing thing in homestead. We were actually there and talked with the 12 year old. The girl got into the swing herself 'backwards' and was stuck- she said from about 9:30 until close to 10:30 or 11 when my in-laws came and tried to help her out. I was actaully the one to call the fire dept so they could cut her out of the swing. The mother left her there... she wasnt around. just thought i would clear a little of that up!! have a great day!
