Lisa has asked me to post this information for anyone that is interested.

We'll be having our "low-key" kickoff to starting Block Watch at Cobblestone Farms on Wednesday, October 10th. We'll be meeting with the Maricopa PD at 6:30 at the ramadas by the lake. Please come and help us get this going. If you have questions, e-mail isu4ulc@msn.com

Are you a Cobblestone Farms resident?
What's your name?

I saw your posting in the other communities announcing that our pool and splash pad is a Community Pool---implying it is open to everyone.

I hope I have corrected your incorrect assumptions.
If you are a resident, than shame on you for telling other communities that our pool is open for their use....IT'S NOT.
Nor is the splash pad.

Anyway, come to the meeting if you are a resident. I'm sure we will be discussing concerns such as non residents using our facilities. We will probably also be discussing the police patrol, the surveillance cameras, and the added police that are watching from two story homes that are vacant around the pool. We welcome your additional ideas in our quest to keep our HOA fees down and to keep those that do not belong out of our facilities.

Regards,
Kimberly

So I showed up to this event a little late, due to work, around six- forty or so and nobody was there. I went over to the splashpad thinking that we would have to escape the mosquitos, nobody there. No e mails of cancellation or nothing. What is the word?

Anyone know what happened to the blockwatch meeting? Was it cancelled? Is it going to be rescheduled?
Who's watching the Blockwatch?

Maybe we need a "Birdwatch" here.

Sorry folks....I just posted this information for Lisa.
She's on the HOA Board and is heading up the Block Watch.
I was out of town at my sister's wedding so I wasn't able to make the event.
I did call Lisa and she said she was there and no one showed up.
I wonder if maybe she didn't wait long enough?????

Anyway....
I will try and get more info tonight at the HOA Board Meeting.

October 16th 6pm-8pm
Come on Down.....
