I have the Adventurer house model and there are places in the front of the house on the 2nd story that the pigeons like to nest. Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of them?

I have noticed some pigeons on my roof the last few days, no nest yet though. perhaps ACE sells those spiky things to put up there to discourage them?

I know someone who uses "tacky foot" They put this down and when they try to land it get it on their foot. They don't like it and they go somewhere else to land. I'm sure ACE has it. Its in a tube like caulk.

I hear that hot foot is the only goo type stuff that works. I used tanglefoot goo when I lived in Gilbert. The heat made it run down my pillars and it looked worse the the pigeon mess! Looks like chicken wire painted the same color as the house may work. Or even spikes for that matter, just need to find some. Thanks for the ideas.

Well, due to time constraints and these pesky pigeons, I called "The Pigeon Guy" whose business is listed as being in Chandler. They will not come out to Maricopa. Does anyone know of a company that does this kind of work? The Pigeon Guy supposedly takes all nesting capabilities away as well as all standing edges. Supposedly no more pigeons

Get a BB gun and make some money on the side selling Squab to fussy French Chefs?

We had a HORRIBLE pigeon problem at our last house. Tried spikes, hot-foot, lobbing pebbles, poisoned corn and a pest company. None of it worked and the hot-foot left sticky goop that collected everything, including the pigeon poop and feathers. We tried the BB gun approach, but didn't like having to kill them when we winged them. We just wanted them to crap elsewhere. Ultimately, an air-soft gun and routine raids did the trick, BUT I'm pretty sure it's illegal to do this now. I feel your pain. They are persistant and messy little buggers.

I hear you! Darn birds... we recieved a few quotes from some companies and it was in the fifteen hundred to two thousand price range. Setting up eaves may be a trick if it will pass H.O.A. Thought about putting tack strip with liquid nails on top of the lip where the pesky birds perch themselves. Soon when bird season is over will we attempt control.

2 pigeons down, who knows how many more will have to give their lives for their cause, which at this time seems to be dive bombing my windows and front of the house with pigeon mess. Hollow point pellets work great!

Had Sexton come out and pigeon proof the house. Very inexpensive. No more pigeons!

"PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals"

Well in that case, I'm a PETA.  Yum yum. I've said it before, I'll say it again. If our roles were switched, they would eat me.
