For those attended, what was your take on the overall meeting?

-I couldn't hear much, could've used the mic.
-Not much of a turn out, those who did not attend cannot blame what's going to come out of the elected members and the decision(s) of those who attended.

There are others but what's your take?

I would like to know how it went. We would have been there, but all this stuff with the stolen vehicle has sent my brain to other places. I just completely forgot about it.

C&W,
My daughter and I were there, and it was my first HOA meeting, so I don't really know what to think of it. I know that there were a lot of ballots cast before the meeting. That lady seemed to have little or no idea what goes on in our community, as I guess her position doesn't require that she would. I hope that with the community being turned over to us that there will be positive strides made in the care of the overall area, and that there are more eyes and ears that start to pay attention and find ways to make Senita the best it can be. We are going to be here for the rest of our lives. I didn't know that they didn't intend to open the floor for problem resolution, and I thought they should have made that clear in the letters they sent out. And next time, maybe I'll bring cookies!

Yes, that's really my name

More homeowners attended this meeting than the last one.  Probably, because phase 3 was not completed.  I feel there should have been a bigger turn-out.  I would like to thank the residents who took the time to come out and vote.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the ones that voted for me in person or by absentee ballot.  I will try to help make a difference because I have a big mouth and I will speak up.  I will do my best to make you proud that you voted for me.  My understanding is that the HOA is going to give the elected board a book with a lot of information.  We will hold meetings.  I don't know how often.  We will have to find a place to hold the meetings.  That is up to us.  Of course, we will have to pay wherever we have the meetings.  If you have any suggestions that you would like to see happen in Senita, let me know.  I understand that all the meetings will be open.  There will be no private meetings with the board members.

I guess as soon as we receive the information from Chris, we can get started.

Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you.

You'll find that one of the hardest thing to do is to get people to the meetings.  It makes it rather difficult to get the word out.

Helen,

I think we made the right choice in voting you in, with background of yours it's an asset (disclaimer: i'm not trying to come across to make myself sound/look good).  Plus the others we've voted in.  My wife and I did not come to Copa for cheap housing (although that was one of many factors), but to better our future.  I say, those who did not attend shall not blame for the decision(s) made by those who decided to be active in the community (granted that schedule conflicts do arise).

My wife and I plan on attending the block party, unless something drastically change our schedule.

Angela,

To answer your questions:

-Kris did not make it to the meeting

-Plans to create committees (parking, block watch, graffitti, etc.)

-There some questions and answer with regards to Code Enforcement (any problem with CC&R violation, email Kris), but not a full blown open forum b/c I don't think they were prepare for it

-We elected our 5 board members (which they will elect themselves to whatever position).

There were other issues but I couldn't hear clearly.
