Alert | I know everyone by now has noticed we have only on sidewalk but has anyone noticed how narrow the sidewalk is on Maricopa Groves Parkway? The other day I decided to walk my girls while the rode the bike down the community and we could even fit next to each other. Not to mention how close it is to the actual street. They should have buffer it with landscaping. If that's not worst our community has a 35 mph while other communities (like the Villages)have a 25 mph and landscape buffering the street. OK rant over!

Alert | | I don't think it's any narrower than any other standard sidewalk. 35mph wouldn't be bad if that's actually how fast people drove. They will probably change it when the school is finished and the foot traffic on the parkway increases. | | Yes, that's really my name

Alert | | If Maricopa Groves Parkway had a 25MPH speed limit it wouldn't be a good short cut between Honeycutt and CG HiWay. Ever notice how fast the sheriffs rip through there?

Alert | Yeah, I made it a point to stare at one the day I was walking. But this is really horrible as I said b/4 the sidewalk should be buffered. Plus it looks more attractive.

Alert | | If you ask me, it is the sidewalks on the side streets that are odd; I mean, why can't they just put sidewalks on BOTH sides of the street? Makes it very annoying when trying to go for a walk or walk the dog... just seems strange to me. Did they really save THAT much money by leaving out 6 feet of concrete between driveways?

Alert | | Good luck. The developers were pinching on the amount of space. Can't do anything about it.

Alert | The sidewalks in the neighborhood are pretty pathetic anyways. It seems most people just walk up the streets. I know we do most of the time and most people I see walking by do too. I actually kinda like not having a sidewalk in front of my house. With everyone walking in the street, there is less chance of me needing to pick up dog poop from someone else's dog.
