 Alert | Hi all,
We just moved in to Phase 3 a few weeks ago and would love to meet our neighbors. I saw a thread back around Halloween and apparently you all had a nice block party with a pretty decent turn out.
Would anyone be interested in having another one maybe end of January / February? Perhaps Sunday afternoon February 10th since that's the Sunday after the superbowl...

Alert | I dont mind coordinating what who can bring what.. I just dont know if we need to "reseve" the park or not.. I know there is one like 3 blocks down where I live (Raynon) I think on elizabeth? it has grills and playground and basketball courts..
Im gonna list what I think we will need and if you want to pm me what you want to bring and I will put the list together and then later on let you know what we are missing
Football/basketball for kids
water ( I have a portable water dispenser, I'll take care of this )
Hotdogs
Hotdog buns
mustard
Ketschup
relish
onion
side ( mac salad, potoato salad)
not sure if anyone would want to do hamburgers... if so that and buns
chips
dip
salsa ( I dont mind doing this.. )
dessert
paper plates
napkins
forks
Charcoal
lighter fluid
sodas
cups if we do 3 liter sodas
and Ice
Ice chest ( I can bring this, but it is not huge, its regular size)
trash bags
also, If everyone wants to be on like a neighboor hood list so we can keep in touch with everyone send me your name, phone number and address and we can give them to everyone who attends.. just and idea.. there might be a neighboor you want to keep in touch with and might be a good way to keep in touch? just an idea.. or at least address w/ family name.

Thanks so much for taking the lead on this! I think its a great idea about the neighborhood list. I can take care of that. I'll just bring a pad and paper and have everyone fill it out there. Then I'll compile it after and email it out. The location sounds good too.

Also, I would like to start a block watch/neighborhood watch.... Anyone else interested? Alert | Feb 10th is still good for us. It's far away enough that people can plan their weekends around it.
I've never done a block watch but would be willing to hear about what it entails.

so far we have:
Cheyenne and hubby 2 liter bottles of soda / cups / ice
Jensee dessert, paper plates and napkins
Jhall Hot dogs, ketchup, mustard
Crystal: Salsa, and or / nacho cheese Water dispenser w/ water in it ( for hand washing and drinking etc) and Ice chest. I'll also bring some Chips. I will also bring trashbags incase we need some
What we still need
