I'm just trying to see who are my neighbors. Since I'll be moving soon I'm looking forward to meeting all or some of you.

Mine is a DR Horton house and am pleased with their work.

Yes, we're excited to be getting in the the house. We actually had a rather short wait because we bought a spec house that was already 50% complete when we decided to buy it. I'm just not looking forward to living with all the construction traffic. Whenever I drive over there to check on progress, I feel like I'm lucky to get out of the subdivision in one piece!

Don't yet but we will be moving into our house in Phase 3 in about 3 weeks. Pulte is finally getting some house done in there.

Block party, poker night, whatever. I am look forward to meeting everyone. Everyone seems really nice on here, I think we will have a great little neighborhood. We should also think about joining/starting neighborhood/block watches.

My husband is on the new police dept in Maricopa and we are moving to Senita in a DR Horton home in January...one of his co-workers is moving in Senita as well, so there will be a couple of police cars parked outside right in the neighborhood...I'm sure my husband would be happy to help get a neighborhood watch going Reagan...just having the vehicles outside overnight helps too!

Definitely a block party. Nate, I bought my house prior to your side opened up for built. Oct. is not too far away.

I didn't know CopaPD gets to take a vehicle home? Unless you're a detective or special unit. Anyways, that's nice to know that we have some officers in the neighborhood.

Glad to hear some Police Officers will be my neighbors. I think the police cars parked around will be great. I believe on the old 85239.com there was some talk of starting a block watch. I don't know if it ever got started or not.

I do suppose we should consider having our own block watch being that we are separted from the other half of the neighborhood by a Wash.

Sorry I got to this thread so late. I'm moving into a DR Horton home in 3 weeks. My home is near the wash. It doesn't necessarily "back up" to the wash, but my next door neighbor's lot does, so close enough. I think it's great we will have Police Officers in the neighborhood and a block party definitely sounds like an awesome idea! I'm tired of waiting... I want to move in now!!! Who needs carpet anyway?

I agree about having neighborhood parties and/or BBQs. It's a great way to get to know each other and have fun at the same time. I am all for a block watch too. Also glad to hear that there will be some police cars parked overnight in the neighborhood. Having them around helps keep the nuisance crime to a minimum.

Security systems also deter crime. I'm getting an ADT one through USAA I get a screamin rate for it. If anyone is looking at getting an alarm let me know, I have a brother and a lot of friends in that industry.

We were looking at an alarm system as well. We got it all pre-wired from Pulte. What does an alarm system run a month?

Jhall.....
I think I will just use my overgrown Chihuahua for my alarm system. It eats burglars as well. We found it in the mountains of Colorado...Fish and Game / Wildlife Dept couldnt tell me what type of animal it is, but it resembles bigfoot with a Chihuahua head with big teeth and claws. So just tell everyone in Copa to stay away from our house or it will eat you. Oh by the way you are holding a gun in your picture...we tried shooting it with a tank and it still wouldnt die...Anyone for having the block party at my house.....LOL Just kidding alarm systems are great though...
