Yeah....I got an email from H&N regarding this post.  Tim sent me an email explaining H&N, its owners, the community, etc.  I must say...I'm impressed.  The fact that he had the courage to send me an email offering any information was kinda cool and very proactive.  He has my respect.  I thought I was the only one to take on miss informed people or unhappy clients in a direct manner.  I still want to chat with my neighbors who have used them but they are headed in the right direction.

He also mentioned a very good point.  If they didn't do a good job...homeowners would be knocking on their doors as we ALL know where they live.  Very true.  He must be confident in their services if they are to offer it to their very own community.  Plus they live here and would probably want THEIR OWN community to look very nice.

As long as we accept a bid from multiple vendors then I say its fine.  If he comes in lower then so be it.  But the board and Kriss need to make sure they don't go telling the other landscapers what H&N offers.  That too is not fair.  All they need to do is call the landscapers and say "Give me your best offer" and some references.  Simple as that.  Just my opinion.  That's how it works in the public sector.  Price & references say it all.
