We weren't home last year for Halloween, so I have no idea how much candy to buy for this year. Anyone have any recommendations?
I hope to get trick or treaters this year. I was so upset we missed it last year.
Thanks!

I am in Alterra north close to the 347 and I only had a handful of kids come by. Last year there was hardly anyone living on my street. I still don't see a lot of kids around, so not sure how many will be trying to scare the calories out of me.

I live in Alterra North first street once you turn into subdivision and I ran out of candy last yr. I had to turn my lights out and they still came knocking! People are bringing car loads of kids I think from the reservation and dropping them in the subdivisions! That is what I encountered last yr. I went through 3 full bags of candy and had to recandy the stuff I knew my son would not eat. We had fun!

Thanks for the input! I would rather have too much candy than not enough. Especially since I don't have little ones' bags to raid, I will be able to have some for myself. LOL!

Thanks, Happy Halloween to you to Colgate! I'm in Alterra South I guess and this will be our first
Halloween here. I just bought a crapload of candy figuring it's better to have too much than to run out! Plus, I eat all the leftovers anyway(my kids are grown). Hope all goes well with more treating than tricking!
