Just to let everyone know, the last News-letter delivered to every home in Maricopa Meadows we did mention if the Garbage Cans are overflowing with trash Maricopa Disposal would charge an additional fee of $4.00 every time. So make sure your lids close or Maricopa Disposal will charge you.

Seriously, can we get rid of Maricopa Disposal for the neighborhood and get Waste Management?
I have not heard one nice thing about Maricopa Disposal and have nothing but horrible experiences with the mgmt staff.

If my garbage cans are only half filled, will Maricopa Disposal give me a rebate? They have some hell of a nerve charging for overflowing cans, unless they also give you money back when you don't even fill the can.
We might want to think about using Waste Management, or at least find out which one will give us a better deal.

I e-mailed the HOA today - knowing that I am not alone in my detest of Maricopa Disposal - made me take the plunge - its funny - what ever happened to the days when garbage men actually got off the vehicle to dispose of the trash??? Here - they charge you for them, errrr, <gasp!> doing their job???? Oh the irony!!!
We have a trash quota - okay, I could go on and on

By the way, I got an e-mail back from Deborah noting that they are getting proposals from trash companies as we speak. I made it a point to voice my concern (detest) about Maricopa Disposal - I think everyone should if they want another option.

I think it is a bad idea. The less Services (edit) the HOA pays for the better IMO. Let each household be responsible for what they control. At a later date it would be a reason to increase our dues.

Like taxes less is better
