 Alert | On a positive note I happen to like living here in MM. Of course there are issues that need to be addressed but I see that there are a lot more positive things going on around me. I for one happen to like my neighborhood,the parks and the people I have met so far<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/biggrin.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Big Grin' align='absmiddle'> Maybe we should be encouraging our members that read and post on this forum to tell us what they like about this community. Just to bring some balance to all of this<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/crazy.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Crazy' align='absmiddle'> With all of these complaints flying around it would be really nice to know that there are a lot more of us homeowners out there that happen to have a peace of mind in choosing MM as our home.

I agree with you to a part, Smilingchic! It is so great to live here in my brand new beautiful house - i love it and so does my family!
but you know what - if we all just keep staying inside our beautifull houses and being happy , the bad guys could evently sneak up and maek our lives misrble! I am exagerating, but i think you know what I mean!
Some times you have to speak out to make sure that things get done. Sometime you haev to speak out to report the bad guys. Some times you haev to speak out about unpleasent, un-smiley things that happen in life! Do you realize how FEW homeowners even bothered to vote in last election?? How few votes they even received to get on the Board - out of 1350 about so homes we get a pathetic 60 some ballots turned in - do you think this shows a huge support for the Board members? They are basicly where they are becuz of the apathy of most who live here.
I am sure the bored for the most part is doing good as they can for us. But if one makes a bad choice they need to be wkared up not just let them get way wit it. oh why bothr? cuz then they can just keep doing it?
sorry our maricopa is not so negtive free as you would dream!

Alert | | Smilingchic, I am glad that you posted this thread! This is a wonderful place to live. I have met so many people here that are wonderful and pleasant. I think that we find what we are looking for in any community that we live in. If we look for the positive, we will find it. On the other hand if we have a tendancy to focus on the negative, we will find that as well. I am glad that you are seeking out the positive. Maricopa Meadows has a lot of wonderful residents who reach out in friendship and service everyday. I hope you get a chance, like I have, to meet many of them and enjoy their friendship! | | | |

Alert | | I love living down here. I don't have to deal with the gun shots, all night parties, and sirens all night like I did in Scottsdale. I wish I knew more of my neighbors, but everyone seems to be too busy or they stay secluded on our street. I wish renters could be more apart of the community, too. Unfortunately, the HOA board is locked out to renters, so we don't know events or anything else that may be going on. | | | |
