Hi,
Did anyone else attend the HOA Board mtg yesterday?
I was there for the first two hours 10 to 12, but had to leave after that for another commitment. I was trying to videotape the meeting for my neighbor who couldn't come, but the Board made me stop!

I heard that it was quite an intense meeting. He said teh one Board member VP was voted OUT by the homeowners, & then same Board member called the cops!!!

LinLaw - That was unprofessional of you! Trying to video tape the meeting with out check with the Board. The Board was right to make you stop, without checking with legal.

No one was voted out - just a rumor.

Cops did show-up to cool down a home owrer.

You find LinLaw unproffesional videotaping the meeting. Did you also find it unproffessional how a BOARD MEMBER surpressed information with the help of the PROPERTY MANAGER, Abusiung her position on the board.

Did you find it proffessional when a BOARD MEMBER put his hands on a HOMEOWNER seen by the POLICE and 10 witness this behavior including the PRESIDENT.

I am not a JERK nor anyone that stood up for what they believe, I resent that statement from a previous post you made. We will not move out since I berlieve the few that spoke out have the right to SPEAK OUT keeping the BOARD on check with the PROPERTY MANAGER.

Also, Devil Dog look at your statement below. One minute you make a statement how the BOARD S____. And now you say another....Did you also forget you were annoyed of the one day notice and how can you prepare yourself. Think and go back to previous statements before making another.

At the HOA meeting Saturday, it was a removal of the vice president. a majority of the homeowners present at the meeting voted in favor. it is in the HOA Bylaws. The vice president admitted to deliberatley keeping information from another board member who requested it. The vice president was removed from the board and a replacement will be put in place. Justice has been served!

Cops showed up in time to see a Boared member physically grabbing a homowner! Assault cahrges could have been made to that as it was totally out of line and the bored memebr just passed the so-called code of conduct to respect all homeowners!

I'll believe this when I see an official statement from the HOA Board that states this information. I definitely am not taking rumors made through a public forum to be fact, regardless of how adamant the poster is of their truth. Like I said in the other thread, it is far fetched that a few homeowners could show up to a meeting and have an impromptu recall vote and remove an officer of the board without all homeowners being notified. We were all notified of the election of the board members. Why wouldn't it be required that we as homeowners be notified of a vote to remove one of them. I think that you need to reread the HOA Bylaws, and get the facts straight before making such statements. It also seems to me that these accusations are a little too vague to be believable. The posters give just enough information to insight anger, but not enough to allow anyone reading to get a good grip on what the Board member did that was worthy of being removed. And just for clarification purposes, MrPeaceful, were you or were you not at the meeting? Your first post sounds like you just heard about the meeting, but your second post sounds like you were there, so which is it? If we are telling the truth here, let's tell the whole truth.

Lets go by the numbers:
1. They still didn't answer my question on video taping the meeting.
2. Info that was held back to you guys - I would have held back too, who knows what kind of spin you guys put on it.
3. If i was on the Board, I would have the cops escort you guys out of the meeting for Disorderly Conduct!
4. Personal space - heard of it , use it next time. The homeowner should have never enter that space.
5. I stand behind my STATMENT - "Move out" - How much $ do you want for your houses - to keep you guys out of MM.
6. There is a difference between Speaking Out and Yelling Out of Control!
7. Yes, I was not Happy with the 1 day notice - But , I'm not going to go nuts about it. The board is going to work on it for next meeting. That works for me.
8. Mrpeaceful - is that name what you do or think that you do! Next time use it at the next meeting.
9. The vote was a JOKE! - You can't just bring your people to vote, all six of you to kick a board member out. There about 450 homeowners in MM. You six people are not the Majority.
10. Why is it only a hand full of people think they have all the rights to demand on the spot. I do not know all of the issuses on hand, but, you guys go overwall.
