Ok, I have lived in Maricopa for 5 years now and Verizon has always worked great. Now that I moved to DP I have a lot of lost calls. I think that it is from the large power lines on White and Parker. I need to know if anyone has good coverage while at home and who their carrier is. If it is a Verizon thing, I will drop them (even though I really like them) or if other carriers have the same problem while in DP then I will live with it.

I have Cingular and cannot make or receive a call from inside the development. If I go out to one of the surrounding streets I have reception. Even on White & Parker.

I have AT&T, my phone works pretty good most of the time but sometimes downstairs it will drop the calls. It always works on the second floor though. I don't know what model you have but the two story ones it works ok. We bought bluetooths for our phones so we can put the phone down in a spot that gets good reception and walk around the house while we are on the phone to avoid the dropped calls.
It's touch and go though - somedays it works great others it's not so much.

We were on cingular when we moved in last year. Did not hardly work inside the house. Found that T-Mobile works great inside the home with a full 5 bars. Awesome!!!!

I've had Verizon since 2000 and am thinking about looking around for another carrier.  I have next to no coverage at our house in DP.  I talked to a verizon rep three days ago and he said that Verizon just put in a new tower at 238/347.  Right...   He told me  to *228 to check for the new tower.  I still haven't been able to get a signal long enough to even get it through and it made no difference on my hubby's phone.

We've got T-Mobile, and never ever have any trouble with the service. We are very satisfied.

Update... I've since talked to several more verizon reps. The new tower has not gone up yet, but they're guessing it will be up in the next few months. They opened up a problem ticket for me so they can investigate the issues in this area and make sure they are resolved.

We'll have to see if verizon fixes this or we might just have to switch to T- Mobile!

I have AT&T and my phone never works in the copa. I live in Glennwilde and it never works in my house. I had to get a land line because no one could ever get a hold of me. I am waiting out my contract and will probably change to Verizon or Sprint.
My parents were here a couple weeks ago, they have Sprint. They had no trouble with there phones here like I have with mine. I had to use there phones when I wanted to make a call!

We had TMobile when we first moved in and could not get any reception unless we stood next to a window. Now we have Verizon and it is a lot better but lately we have been having lost or dropped calls. I wonder if it is all the flies causing the bad reception.

I know, I just thought that was really funny.
There are so many, yesterday I walked out on my patio and I swear I thought something must be dead out here because there were hundreds of flies all hanging out there. Does anyone know of anything that will keep them away.
They are so gross!

My husband and I went and bought some of those fly motels and other products from Wal-Mart while we were up in the valley. They seem to be working since our fly population has decreased. We still got lots of flies but not the swarm we had the past two weeks.

Unfortunately, as close as we all live to Pinal Feeding we will all suffer from that wonderful this I like to refer as "S#&T FOG". The flies will never go away as long as we have warm temps & glorious.....one of a kind......can't see where the hell I'm going.......SH#&T FOG......

Yes, that fog is a wonderful site. Funny how it seems to hang out around KB more than some of the other developments. =)
