We love desert passage, but where are all the little kids? We have twins that're nearly three and an 18 month old. It seems like most of the kids here are a little older. We need some little playmates! (And maybe some drinking buddies for us parents. Shhhhhhh!!!)

Alert | | So, has anyone noticed the lovely yellow thing that has moved in right on the main street, Lococo. Is that really allowed under HOA rules? With all the equipment they've got there, they could be running a business out of that house rather than living there. What an eyesore!!! Parking it next to your house rather than in front... yeah that'll hide it!

Alert | | And NOW.... We've got a "FOR RENT" sign up down the street! What the heck! I though buyers couldn't turn around and rent immediately. I don't think anyone's ever lived in that house and it's already for rent!!! It's all downhill from here apparently.

Alert | | Hello Neighbors! I just move in about three weeks ago to Sage, and am loving every minute of it! How is the neighborhood? I am a single mom of a 22 month old little boy and would love to hang out with other parents (and my son needs friends)! Just thought I would say hello... Hope to see you all around soon!

Alert | Has anyone noticed the little kids that are vandelizing the neighborhood?? I have never seen such disrepectful kids in my life. This little boy about 8 years old has a dirtier mouth than I do! SHOCKING!
Is there anything that can be done about the parents keeping their kids under control or watching them when they are outside?
I love kids - don't get me wrong - but when I see kids tormenting cats, throwing glass bottles at houses and the cement walls, cussing like they were truck drivers, I get a little concerned if the parents are aware of even care. I know I would!!!
Our house backs up to a playscape so it hard to ignore it. Any suggestions?

Alert | Hey all! Just thought I'd jump in here. I'm over in Juniper on Alicia Ct. :o) My husband and I have 3 kids .... one turns 11 tomorrow, one will be 3 on Feb. 1, and the other will be 2 on April 7th. (Daughter, daughter, son) I'd love some kind of play date too! Always up for new friends! It might be a week or so before I'm on again, but message me and hopefully we can set something up.
Oh, and about us ... I'm 28 and a sahm. Hubby is turning 34. He's a detention officer. Not a ton of time right now to tell more, but hopefully I'll be around on here more often in the coming months.
Oh and NICOLENA! Are you in Juniper by chance? I know EXACTLY who you are talking about. 8 years is right. I bet I can even pin down what park you live by because I'm pretty sure I'm near it as well. In fact, the cat they threw in the dumpster is a cat that my neighbor and I found and have been caring for (she's an indoor/outdoor cat) and she's gone missing in the last day or so. My daughter just put out signs looking for her. The boy who threw her in the dumpster is the worst of the group. The others just have god aweful mouths ... I know that much. I've met ALL their parents and they're all great .... I don't know if they even realize what's going on and I'm really not sure what to say or if I should say anything since I don't know them that well and I don't know how their ship is run. I don't hesitate to say something to the kids though .... not that it helps.

Alert | You should tell the parents. Nicely. I am glad that I am in Sage! Though we have a lot of little kids raoming the street. Good kids, the only bad thing that I have seen them do is throw rocks at the stop sign. I asked them to please stop. Oh, I had a saguaro cactus skelton in my front yard (yard decoration) and someone stole it! So if your neighbor has a new decoracion let me know!
