Posted By Bridog on 02/29/2008 11:18 PM actually, probably not a foreclosure. It is a new build. Thats a DRhorton Pinnacle in either Senita or Sorento. Problem is that home is 4 walls and a roof. (still a smokin price though) Most people put in just a few basic upgrades like covered patio and vaulted ceilings. That will add another 12k to the price. One of my favorite builders is offering a 1600sqft 3/2, with some incredible included features PLUS a free upgrade package. price? $113,900 btw, this is what I do for a living, so I try and stay ontop of the Maricopa market Brid... can you give a prediction on how long it will take to break even in maricopa? If you don't want to be held to your opinion, i totally understand or you can also PM me. I am really concerned because I just found out I have valley fever and dr said that if i continue to live in an area with lots of farming and new construction, i can possibly have a reactivation of it due to a weak immune system and right now... my hubbie and I are about 60k upside down, which I know is not as bad as people who bought in the height of the market, but basically we are stuck here with a threat to my health and from what i was told by other RE agents in the copa, it could take us 5-10 years before we can even break even here, let alone have any equity and there is no way we can move out now because we don't have 60k plus RE fees, lawyers etc to be able to move. Thanks for any info you can give me based on your experience with the maricopa market. Our good friend is a RE agent but not in maricopa and for some reason i feel our RE situation and the time it will take to break even ifs even worse than the rest of phoenix, correct me if I am wrong. I know the RE market is horrible in most states right now, but I am astonished at how much money I have lost in the very short time I have lived here and now have no way out, as my location will now we a constant threat to my health. I will have to walk around with a mask and was advised not even to sit in my own backyard since it is just dirt right now and we don't have the money to landscape. |
