Been twice to Maricopa, we loved it! We're driving down today to check out three rental homes. Anybody has any good deals they know of, let us know. Thanks & hope to see you all soon!

Ok, so this is what you should do..

First off start on Craigslist. Under apts/housing type in "Maricopa" a giant list of rentals will be available. We just moved from Seattle here and craigslist was amazing. We found a man named Frank who will email you a list of every house within your price range and then he'll take you to all of them. The agencies pay him a finders fee and he gets a little bit of cash. He was so helpful and even called after the deal was made to make sure we were taken care of. Then he called again after we arrived to make sure that we were still ok. I thought he was so great!

THANK YOU to all who pm'd us! We've been doing the search thing since June, and have already done most of the suggested actions to search for a home in Maricopa.

Saturday afternoon's visit & inspection was fruitful, and we'll pursue it.

But, if the deal doesn't work out....

We are looking for a minimum 2 BR, 1 BA home to lease (larger is OK, willing to wheel & deal). Kids are grown & gone. We have pets, and grandchildren will visit. Therefore, greenbelts/parks need to be near! Looking to move in by Christmas or Jan 1.

No regrets in making this move. We even experienced on Saturday the 1-hour delay southbound on the 347 (paving operations), no big deal. Impressed that Maricopa had grown even more since our visit in July.

Great town, met some friendly people again.

Have a great weekend y'all!<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/biggrin.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Big Grin' align='absmiddle'>

ALL:

Thank you for your help! We are on the final steps needed to move into a home in Maricopa. We are looking at a move-in date in December. And, yes, it was the first home we viewed. I'll mention a Sub-division later (after we move).

I think this web-site is one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time. This community has really bought into using it actively, and I'm happy to see so much communication occuring daily.

Keep up the great community spirit, and see ya around!

Congrats and welcome to Maricopa. I'm sure that you will love it here. The people are great (outside of the negative posts here) and there's some great fun activities planned for the month of December.

Happy Holiday's!!!!
