Alert | | Did any of you have your own attorney at your closing? I have some concerns in the preliminary title documents. Any thoughts?

Alert | | in massachusetts, there is always an attorney to represent at closing. when i bought a house in missouri, i was shocked to find that isn't how it's done there. not how it seems to be done in arizona either. when we closed we went to the title company and signed docs, that was it. but if you have concerns, i would at least have an attorney look over the docs first, if not actually attend the closing.

Alert | | Recommend Howard Karman in Casa Grande. He handled the whole transaction from start to finish and did a great job. Cost under 1000 bucks. | | Some people will do anything to get elected!

Alert | | Generally in Arizona you don't need an attorney when buying or selling a home. Your Realtor can meet you at title when you are closing and go over any paperwork with you. Your Realtor has fiduciary responsibilities to represent you from the start to the finish of the transaction. I am a Realtor and that is what I do. | | Brenda M Aiken Mom, Realtor, Navy Wife Currently missing her soldier
