Alert | I need to rent an empty house the weekend of sept 7/8/9 it has to have electricity and water. We have out of town family coming and I don't have enough room in my house.
Easy way to make some money if you home is empty.
Will only sleep and use bathroom, no cooking or other activity.

Alert | really....if they only NEED ONE BATHROOM and ONE BEDROOM, wouldnt it be better and CHEAPER to just get a Hotel? Why would you rent a house for a few days? Seems awfully strange to me!
Now if it were a beach house, or if the house offered some feature of a vacation property, Id see the point in it, but...Uhhh...Maricopa? HUH? Why?

Alert | Oops! When I searched I clicked on Arizona and didn't see the link for Maricopa in GREATER PHOENIX area. I looked in Main Arizona.
Personal Pet Peeve: Maricopa is NOT part of Phoenix. That pissed me off bigtime years ago when Harrahs first opened and marketed themselves as Phoenix Ak-Chin Casino. Hello when did we change the name of the town from Maricopa to Phoenix? OK Rant over. I've taken my pills...

Alert | | Fritzy - that's like the LOS ANGELES Angles, when the Angels are in Orange County. That used to really tick me off too. They have the Dodgers, they need to give the Angels back.

Alert | | What's with all the talk about hotels? If there are hotels in Maricopa then where are they? I know there's one at Harrah's, but it's pretty expensive and I wouldn't want my family to have to drive back and forth to Chandler or CG constantly either. Personally, I think renting a furnished house is a good isea.

Alert | just so everyone is clear, no weird stuff going on. A family member is getting married, and we have 15 people coming from California, we did find a fully furnished home in RED that is available, so that family can sleep and bath. Its a better deal then Harrahs.
Nothing funny, nothing wierd, except for the crazy's that post weird responses.
no where did my original post state 1 room and bath. | | There are no real reasons for failure, only excuses

Alert | LOL It makes more sense when the rest of the story is posted. I was a little leary by the first post as well. It did sound like a hold up for some sort of illegal activity. (Drug moving, illegal smuggling, etc.) More info is better than less, especially on this forum. I hope the wedding is great! | | Let X=X
