Studglove, I was hoping that the AZROC could tell you how to tap into their bond or at least put your name on the list. Best bet is your Title company as they were supposed to deliver a clear title and the AZDRE. Nevada St. Chandler, AZ 480-892-7126 They may be able to tell you what Elite is telling them about when payment is to be made, probably not much else. I know it isn't much.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I will give them a call and see what I can find out. I have been in contact with mommybrittany all day today and she has started calling elite as well. I will keep posting any progress or set backs with this issue.

Studglove as a fellow neighbor three houses down from you it sucks to hear that our home builder is jacking you around....weve had issues getting the warranty company to finish the work they started...i would continue to do what youre doing now along with maybe getting a lawyer as well if things dont get answered...i would also consider calling the media like 3 on your side or the 12 action team...in my opinion you will get answers a lot quicker if you go this route...no company likes to be bashed on the public airwaves

I have called the title ins. company and they haven't returned my calls. The company is First American Title.

In person always does the trick, especially if they are busy and you are yelling about their incompetence.

Please give us an update. I would like to know if Elite took care of it, or the title insurance covered it etc...

At this point, Elite has told me that 3 of the 4 liens have been paid and that the fourth will be paid upon close of escrow from another house. However, through the recorders office I only have lien releases for two of them. I don't know if the third just isn't available yet or if Elite has lied to me. Elite is becoming much harder to get a hold of but the title insurance company said not matter what they will cover it if Elite goes under. thanks for your interest.
