Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm new here too, just moved into town from California 3 weeks ago. Still trying to figure out where everything is around here. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you take the time to enjoy it here. Be patient with the slow growth as it will be a great little city someday. If you are within walking distance to the park, you will surely enjoy that. We never have to find parking...we just walk over there for events. Welcome to the neighborhood.

We have been in Glennwilde for almost a year and we love it. Just be patient with Maricopa, things will come around. The proximity to Pacana Park is awesome and we love our neighbors.

OMG, I hate global water. I just moved in 3 months ago and they billed me for two months It was $280. They charge 50 to set you up. Then they charge almost 7 bucks to pay on-line so I went down there to pay and they still charge you 7 bucks to use your card. So you have to go down there and take them cash if you don't want to pay the card fee. I live alone and work 60 hours a week and my bill should be around 85 a month. That's like 2 dollars a shower and 1 dollar each flush.

Howdy!

My wife and I are currently having a house built in Glenwilde. We are from BC Canada and will be spending the winters with you folks. Hope you don't mind. One of the posts mentioned that water was like $85 per month. Is that for real? I might have to switch to beer. lol

If you hear some one walking around saying "eh" a lot, it's probably just me, so say hello and we'll have a chat. I'll tell you about my Igloo up North...lol

Great beeing here

PS House wont be ready till summer and we'll be there next winter.

I haven't been on here for a while.  Not to mention, I'm new to the neighborhood- sorta.  I lived in the Villages for a year and moved to Glennwilde Hickory in January.  I live across from the models  on Ventana lane.  I've recently have been laid off, and I guess, you can say, I'm now a stay at home mom.  I'm usually seen bathing 2 huge dogs (white/ american bulldog and rottweiler) in the driveway, pulling all the darn weeds, or going for a simple stroll to the mailbox.  I also competed in the recent Salsa Festival booth H-9. Me and the fam practically live at Pecana Park due to all the Little League and Softball Games we participate in.  Anyway, I don't mean to ramble on so much.  Just thought I'd drop in and say hello to my fellow Glennwilde H/O.

Hi Everyone,
I will be moving into my first new home in May. I am trying to get the place all painted before moving all of my stuff in. I have been living in Phoenix for almost a year but I am originally from Southern California.
Excited to be apart of the Glennwilde Group!

Be the difference you would like to see in the world!

Thanks Drummer, I am super excited to be here. Speaking of paint, I dont think I ever want to see another paint brush as long as I live.
