Yes! I'm excited for Halloween and trick-o-treating!
(Last yr we were in MN and there was snow on the ground and we only got two kiddos who where jumping in and out of their minivan to run up to the door).

Is anyone planning on sticking within the area/neighborhood for their kids to go trick-o-treating? (We live in Lennar/Redwood).---I HOPE SO!
Or any other plans/ideas?

Boo!

Last year we took the kids to VRED because there were not many homes in Senita with their lights on. We'll probably stay around Glennwilde this year (we've moved since last Halloween), but may also go to Cobblestone with a friend of ours who lives there.

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.

We are hoping that our area in Glenwilde will do something within our dev we are in Morrison Homes and we only have 3 streets done so far so we are hoping we can have like a trick or treak and meet and greet since it's on a school night and we don't have to leave our housing area.. So if any of you are reading this lets try and come up with something for our kiddos....

we have been working on putting our decorations out side. We hope to get lots of treaters over in Hickory.

Why wouldn't it be on Halloween?? 2 years ago it was pretty steady from 5:30 to 7:30. Last year I got started early out here...then drove into Chandler and the Tukee.

The best thing about Halloween...is that some kids always steal my Jack O Lanterns...which is awesome. Cuz with the heat out here...they are stinking by Halloween anyway.

Maybe all our kids should take shuttles to each house? That way they can't be hurt by anyone. If we keep them sheltered their whole lives, they may end up loving Halloween.
