Alert | Wahoo!! We're have a Standard Pacific house in Glennwilde. Silver Oak is beautiful. In fact the wife and I just checked them out the other day to get some ideas on paint colors.
I think Morrison just got bought out by Taylor Woodrow Homes.

Alert | | We just bought a Richmond spec. We almost built a Tiffany but a Princeton across the street was almost 20000. below the original price. We looked at almost every home in Homestead, Glennwilde, and The Lakes and loved Richmond and Glennwilde.

Alert | | So glad we have our own section. Yeah! I love living in Glennwilde. My only complain would be those trailers on Porter. Any one know how long we'll have to look at them for?

Alert | | Did any of you get a letter from Waste Management about a recycling contract through our HOA. It said the bill will go up about $12.00. Is that $12.00 per quarter? I hope it's per quarter because I'm paying only $3.00 a month through Maricopa Recycling.

Alert | Good greetings neighbors!
Another Richmond Glennwilde checking in.
How about them tumbleweeds getting ready to pounce on us all between Pacenna park and Adams Way? I predict a glorious mess, that will probably end up backing up the 347 during rush hour for no particular reason...

Alert | Hello Neighbors!
Lennar Homes checking in! We love living here so far, very quiet and nice neighbors. How is the community pool? The one on Adams Way is always closed. | | A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections.

Alert | I live in the Villages, but I enjoy going to Glennwilde. I frequent Pacana Park and my kids practice flagfootball at Glennwilde soccer field area. Personally, I think the soccer field is awesome(I am huge soccer fan). It looks well designed and it's huge for full team adult play. I haven't noticed any excess water due to the sprinklers or rains. That's a challenge at the field at Cobblestone(Vred doesn't have a soccer field).
The pool/splash pad/playground is a nice set up, too. The splash pad INSIDE the pool area is an interesting idea. They are opposite sides of the gate at VRED.
Of Course the community looks nice, too. It's been peaceful in my visits. I truly enjoy VRED, but Glennwilde ranks high with me, too. | | You may remember this from the original 85239:

Alert | Acacia in Glenwilde here. We love the neighbor hood. One plus so far was seeing the fireworks from our frontyard. Just can't wait for the construction to finish up here.

Alert | Standard Pacific homes Meadows at Glennwilde reporting in.
I was wondering when Glennwilde would get its own forum and I'm glad to see so many people posting. Should make for a nice addition to the community as time moves on. | | When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail." - Abraham Maslow (1908-1970)
