Alert | | Why are you under the impression that God exists to make everything nice for us? Perhaps what He can give us is peace and comfort when crap does happen. Perhaps this life down here is a footnote in our soul's existance and God sees the bigger picture. | |

Alert | | I have pondered this myself on many occasions. My sister died in a car accident 5 years ago at age 20. A family friend age of 32 just died last week from cancer. Unfortunately, many bad things happen in this world. I take solace in the small things; the beautiful earth HE created, the life I have today, the health my family and I have. I am not very religious, but i know God has a purpose and I feel him in my life now more than ever. This too will pass. | | | |
