I agree. It's almost like when you have a believer and a non believer talking about God, it just turns into jibbersish... they're trying to convince us God isn't real, much like trying to convince us that there's no such thing as water... oh, but they try. it just always comes out sounding silly IMO and I have to admit in the back of my mind I think 'what are they doing? Don't they know faith is stronger than doubt??'

God is as real to me as your dogs, I am sorry that you don't have this free gift. You can if you want.

I was not brought up to believe in my imaginary friend, I found him all by myself. You know the door is knocking just answer it?
But why is the door knocking?? Why do you all that don't believe still keep looking for answers? It's the Lord knocking at your door. Like it or not, if you where sure about what you believe then you would be far from here. LOL
Love the science I do..in brace anything that keeps you from what you are looking for. I was not looking for what I found to be true.....It found me!

ONE thing with many minds has great power. SO why not agree with one thing?
It would benefit us all but we fight over it, we separate are selves from each other, WHY?
I know that what I am saying will make sense to some, others it will not.
There was a time that a group of people agreed on one thing, they did a great thing with that. We call it America.

1. It's not hocus-pocus nor do we look at it that way ... you seem to insist on that perception in spite of evidence to the contrary.

3. It IS about a gift, at least with Christianity it is.
4. It's NOT about "being strong" and "taking responsibility" ... no one is suggesting that anyone be weak and irresponsible anyway! This sort of attack is worn out and lame. Christianity suggests that true strength comes from God and in no way allows people to be irresponsible. Your reasoning about Christianity just doesn't jive with the message of Christianity. | | | |
