Actually, Hitler was a Christian.

Hitler seeking power, wrote in Mein Kampf. "... I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews. I am doing the Lord's work." Years later, when in power, he quoted those same words in a Reichstag speech in 1938.

Three years later he informed General Gerhart Engel: "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." He never left the church, and the church never left him. Great literature was banned by his church, but his Mien Kampf never appeared on the Index of Forbidden Books.

Actually Hitler threw alot of Christians into the concentration camps with the Jews. So I doubt he was Christian.

If that were true, then he would have answered me when I asked for World Peace and that new Lambo.

But alas, he did not and I feel that I have been forsaken and sent down the path of darkness. I feel I was cast out of God's love and into the fiery pits of damnation.

Can I get a Hallelujah and an AMEN?

Praise Jesus or whomever else gets you through the day.

It's no wonder you're an atheist. There is no love running through you, only hate. If you hate Christianity so much, then just don't respond, simple enough right? If you're looking to debate, then you need to be kind enough to debate. You insulting Christianity and our beliefs is much like me telling you your children are ugly...

Whatever (slang)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In its slang form, it can be defined as an expression of tacit agreement, indifference, or begrudging compliance.

Trogdor ... you are high!

1. Hitler WAS NOT a Christian. He certainly hijacked Christian dogma, but he clearly WAS NOT a Christian. It is an established historical fact that Hitler essentially tricked the German nation into believing in his cause and they did not catch on until too late. Please go to the library and read up on this historical frame.

2. Please take note of the key phrase in your own quote, "Hitler seeking power, wrote...". Imagine that, a homicidal genocidal maniac using anything that he can find to acquire power for his ruthless urge ... that never happens.

3. Whether or not the Catholic Church left or never left Hitler is open to debate, but ultimately irrelevant. Christianity DOES NOT condone what Hitler did and never will; and in general historical terms, there is a significant difference between Christian Church history and Catholic Church history. Back in the day of the Inquisition, a Protestant like me would have been burned at the stake because I did not accept the doctrine of transubstantiation, that says the bread & the wine at communion actually become the flesh & blood of Christ. There was nothing Christian about the practice of killing Protestants.

TTL...

Doe's:
"Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure.[p. 51]"
http://www.davnet.org/kevin/articles/table.html

Sound like a Christian?

While Hitler did have some Christian background, it was really early in his career. Remember he was a loved leader at one time. But then something just happened. I am not sure how anyone can attempt to link his latter actions to Christianity.

As for his being Catholic. Only his parents were, there is no record of any sacraments. Bishops forbade anyone from being in the Nazi party, and useing Doctrine Hitler excomunicated himself by his acts long time ago.

RE: The question by Copa Conscious: "What about divorces?" There are no divorces in the Catholic Church. However, there are annulments. Do you know about those?

Not positive of this, but I thought the only reason divorce would be allowed was for infidelity??? According to scripture?

Impossible ... God's Love doesn't do that, ever. (Romans 8:28) One might be able to make a case for that once The Great White Throne Judgment tosses Hell into the Lake of Fire at the end of time, but not yet.

No. You'd have to say something worthy of praise to God first.

I think this what the leefamily considers "insulting". It is mildly insulting because it mocks what Christians hold sacred, and we know that you meant it as a jab.
