The term NASTY does not do justice in describing the despicable nature of what kind of person an abortion clinic bomber truly is; however, the term IS good to describe people who toss out irresponsible statements designed just to insult and malign the character of decent people.

IF I were to bomb an abortion clinic in the name of Copa Conscious, would that make Copa Conscious responsible? Would that mean Copa Conscious condones the bombing of abortion clinics? Of course not! Only a complete moron or someone with an ulterior motive would think such a ridiculous thing. Which one are you?

Get a grip Copa! Just because a person claims to represent, doesn't mean they represent. Also, a responsible skeptic judges a belief system by what it's foundational documents teach and what its central figure says. It is impossible to credibly use the Bible to support the bombing of abortion clinics. Stop saying irresponsible things.

In fact, some conservative, evangelical Christians openly support terrorist violence. Wiley Drake, currently the second vice-president of the Southern Baptist Convention, signed a declaration supporting James Kopp, the Christian terrorist who assassinated a New York doctor for performing abortions.

The Army of God Web site describes Paul Hill, a Presbyterian minister executed in 2003 for the 1994 killing of a doctor and bodyguard outside an abortion clinic in Pensacola, Fla., as "an American hero."

I do not dispute the insanity of so-called "Christians" making public statements that directly contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ; however, the fact that someone holds a high position in some denomination and/or professes to speak for God from that position, DOES NOT mean that the belief system supports those claims.

It is tragic what some people do or say "IN the name of God. It is equally tragic what some people do or say "NOT IN the name of god". Human behavior is often tragic.

I cannot dispute the stupidity of such a statement.

Again, it is my opinion and heart-felt conviction, that such statements cannot be affirmed by either the Bible or the philosophy of Christianity. Though abortion is murder unless the life of the mother is in danger (right of self defense), one murder does not condone another murder.

HYPOTHETICALLY....
If murder by abortion were a capital offense, then it MAY be appropriate to execute those who are convicted; however, this is a function of the court, not civilians. Also, execution for a capital crime is fundamentally different than murder, not only in a legal sense but also a moral one. Of course, this would make the mother an accessory to murder or something like that. My my my ... wouldn't that be an interesting and high tension debate.

Hitler, Stalin and Mao Zedong have more than 100 million people to their names. And you're taking the time out to call out a minority of Christians that aren't following what the religion says?

Actually, Hitler was a Christian.

Hitler seeking power, wrote in Mein Kampf. "... I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews. I am doing the Lord's work." Years later, when in power, he quoted those same words in a Reichstag speech in 1938.

Three years later he informed General Gerhart Engel: "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." He never left the church, and the church never left him. Great literature was banned by his church, but his Mien Kampf never appeared on the Index of Forbidden Books.

Actually Hitler threw alot of Christians into the concentration camps with the Jews. So I doubt he was Christian.

ALL Catholics are Christian...not all Christians are Catholic, think about it.

It is no wonder Catholics want to completely disassociate themselves from the word “Christian”, it has such a negative connotations these days.

PS…NO Catholic can be a Catholic and be pro choice, it is not an option. If you think it is ok to kill a human (no matter the age) you are going against one of the 10 commandments God set forth of you to follow. They are not hard rules to follow. They are not grey. They are black and white. You can choose to follow them or not but you are no Catholic!
