One cannot be Pro-choice and be Catholic at the same time. That's like saying you are vegetarian and love cheeseburgers at the same time. I am all for women's rights. Oh yeah, and baby's rights too since they are too young to speak out for themselves. I did not choose to be Catholic. That's what I was baptised. Don't tell me what I can and can not do. But it's ok to be a Catholic priest and molest little altar boys? No it's not ok to molest any children, and those priests should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. But to judge an entire religion (ANY religion) based upon the acts of a few is just stereotyping. That would be true, except for the FACT that the church knew what was going on and covered it up, for years. They simply moved priests around like a shell game. Try and find which parish we hid the pedo-priest.
Which is also wrong and despicable. But these crimes also happen in other religions and among non-religious people. Wrong and horrible in all cases. Still, to judge all Catholic priests as child molesters is stereotyping. I don't judge all Muslim sheiks as terrorists. To judge someone because of their race, religion, or whatever is wrong.

Until the fetus shoots out, its still a fetus and can be 'interrupted' at the woman's discretion.
To take that fundamental right away would be tantamount to slavery. The woman would be serving the fetus at its discretion.
This is why Evolution is such a despicable thing ... all women have been Naturally Selected for "fetus slavery". Their only means of escape is to kill the fetus. Maybe they should have thought about that before copulating? Oh, but wait ... Natural Selection thought of that for them by making the natural outcome of copulation pregnancy. So, doing the nasty and having a baby because of that is entirely Natural ... but going against Nature is natural?

School districts did this all the time, still do in someplaces. Gov't orgs did as well. It was a differant era where is was just not talked about.

Well, there is a big difference between the two. One does not want the baby(abortion) and the other does want the baby and keeps smoking/drinking. To me that is insane. But, once again, that's her baby and she has to deal with a child that might have birth defects. | |
