But not everyone peddles "fear" to garner favor among the populace. Oh they absolutely do. Republicans: Terrorists are under the bed! Illegal immigrants are under the bed! Saddam Hussein's weapons are under the bed! Homosexuals are under the bed! ------------------------------------- Democrats: Economy is crashing! Your jobs are all going to be in India in 2009! The earth is warming because you use too many lightbulbs! Whales are disappearing because of your SUV! The gun in your neighbors safe will magically go off and kill you! Fearmongering is all part and parcel of our two major parties today. Claiming that only one side engages in such petty and outlandish behavior is being willfully ignorant.
