I saw a woman driving down the 347 with this sticker in the window.. so the answer is yes.

She cut me off and was driving crazy.... so... Oh well!

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

My hubby works with a guy who goes there and said COC is like their sister church- they are here local and have an ad on here. Pastor Josh is great and I never laugh so hard as I do on Sundays. We eally like it and they are a great bunch of people. Dont let the fact that they let ME in stand in your way of checking them out- I never claim to be perfect...heck I am still a lump of coal on the way to becoming a diamond!! LOL The service is Sunday @ 10:00 at Maricopa/Altera Elementry school on Bowlin. You will save yourself some gas and have a blast!!

We moved here from Queen Creek and attend Rock Eternal there which was a branch of Cornerstone, and we loved it...then when we moved here and now attend Church of Celebration (COC) and love it even more! Both in QC and here, it took a few visits to different churches to find a 'home' and COC is definately it. I agree that Pastor Josh puts a great, real-life spin on his sermons and the worship is so refreshing. I have never looked as forward to Sunday mornings like I do now...you might enjoy it too!

Quote from article below:
"Police have arrested an executive accountant they believe stole more than $400,000 from Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church in Chandler, police said Friday. "

Just goes to show, that even church members and employees are tempted to "sin".

You have to remember, that Christians aren't perfect. That is why we need Jesus. Christians make bad decisions just like everyone else. And, sometimes, can get so caught and before you know it, have really been caught in a bad situation (of our own making). This is why we need grace. Just like with the Mother Teresa situation. People are making such a big deal that she had moments of crisis of faith. If we admit it to ourselves, we all have them. It is what you do with that crisis of faith that matters. Do you turn toward Jesus or away from him? This is free will! Anyway, check out the church. We go to the church right next door to it, Chandler Chrisitan Church and really love it. There is a contignency of CCC goers out here in Maricopa, as I am sure are folks from Cornerstore.

I was really sad when we moved so far away. I attended Cornerstone and loved it. My children especially loved it. They have evening teen groups that meet during the week. I have DVDs from sermons that I cherish. I would have to say I did have a problem with how they feel about communion, but otherwise, I really got a lot out of going there.
