So why discriminate against Christianity? That's what this is, in a way. The Secret is the anti-thesis of Christianity and you're saying not to worry about it. Yet you'd have a problem with Christianity being taught in school.

Have you ever played sports where your coach tells you to close your eyes and visualize yourself scoring a goal/crossing the finish line/ sticking a landing?  I liken this movie to that (although the whole mysticism thing is a bit overdone and maybe even a little creepy).  "Wishing" I were to come in first place does not mean I will nor does it negate the work required to train, and I have always fully understood that, even as a little highschooler.  I don't see why The Secret & Christianity have to be mutually exclusive.  I know this is destined to offend, but how are wishing & praying all that different, really?  Same present.  Different wrapping paper.

Please re-read the first sentence of my last post.  I do NOT have a problem with Christianity or any other religion being taught in school.  Given the current climate in this country, however, religion is no longer welcome or tolerated in public schools.  That is solely why I said it shouldn't be there.  I personally find it sad that the mere mention of God/Buddha/Mohammed/etc is enough to drive people to file lawsuits.  People can choose to ignore it if they wish.  I painlessly ignore plenty of stuff all day every day and I'm dedicated to teaching my children that same tolerance.  I DO have a problem with a public school dictating to my child this is what it is.

Again, the ONLY thing I see wrong here was that in the context this has been presented, the movie had zilch to do with Math.  Now, if it were for math team and the teacher were their coach...
