Sorry to resurrect this thread, but it may not be inappropriate, given the new threads and the high level of traffic here over the last couple of days. I think most can relate to the cartoon.

I actually wanted to ask a technical question. How do you post a picture of something as part of the text of the post? When I click on the "insert image" icon, I get a dialogue box with a lengthy something-or-other in Latin. All of the fields appear to require a URL, which makes me wonder if images posted must have a URL.

Is there any way to post images from a computer (like we do with our avatars) within the body of a post?

Just add the URL of the picture on the URL line.  If it is a picture on your computer I think you need to upload it to photobucket  or some other hosting site.
