 Alert | Sophie: 4YO Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Very energetic and inquisitive. She's also quite expressive with her grunts, moans, and snorts. Super protective.
Sasha: 3YO Shepherd/Dobie mix. Very mellow. Is 80 pounds and thinks she's a lap cat. Just started showing protective tendencies. It took over two years to get her to feel safe with us.
Blade: 6YO Maine Coon mix. Grumpy, miserable and lazy. Only likes my eldest son.
Minerva: 1YO tabby. She puts the other animals in their places. She loves the catdog Sasha, and has made Blade her cabana boy. He grooms her and let's her eat first.
Leviathan: a snarky Betta from the dollar who cost us $150 in tank, food and friends. He ate the friends. He changes colors from purple to pink to salmon. He's all splotchy now. We bought him all the recommended meds and foods, and got a heater for the tank. His color won't stabilize, but he seems healthy.
We'll soon be getting a parakeet. I hope this one is normal. I'm trying to get DH to give in to a little dog, but he would have to fall in love with one before it ever made it into the house. So that's doubtful. | |

Suki is in the pic she is a pure bread Himi and is 11 yrs.
Tiki is a pure bread Himi and is 5 yrs.
Toby is an apple head siamese and is 5 yrs.
Chen is a pure bread blue point siamese and is approx. 12yrs.

Alert | Canine: Kojak, two-year-old Muttus Americanus. I changed his name from Cujo because it just suited his personality better. However, today I think I'll call him Sir Flatulence. Whatever you do, don't let your dog eat scrambled eggs, even if they did fall on the floor.
Feline: Pip (Birman) and Bree (Halloween kitty - jet black with orange eyes).
Aqualine (fish): Henry VIII and Princess Jasmine (male and female Bettas) and Nemo, Marlin, Ariel, Gorby, and Boutros Boutros-Ghali (goldfish). Oh, and Chiang Kai-shek (Chinese algae-eater). | |

Alert | I have 2 spoiled rotten boston terriers
1 is bella she is 1.5 yrs old
other is lacey who is 6 yrs old
I also have a boxer in Texas, with my mom.
We also usually have an extra boston terrier running around as we foster for the rescue. but right now it has been slow.

Alert | Two dogs:
Sage, 8-yr old pitbull mix (mostly the mix part)
Haku 2-yr old Olde English Bulldog, who hasn't encountered an object that he won't chew! (Partial list of chewed items includes two pairs of glasses, one purse, one cell phone, too many shoes to count, one mango tree, harmony kingdom figurine and a coffee table!) We've been to obedience training and he has numerous chew toys that we rotate regularly and still he chews. (His sister was described "as being able to chew through a shark cage if given the opportunity!) We've learned to do a run through before we leave the house looking for things to put away, but sometimes we miss something. . .he never does though!
Two cats:
Freddie, 9 yr-old black & white female who has the sweetest nature.

At the end of Haku's obedience classes the instructor made the comment that she had never worked with any dogs that were as stubborn as this group! Luckily for her there were only three in the class. All of them, including Haku, knew the commands, but pretty much would only do them when they felt like it. | | | |

Alert | We now only have two:
Luna is our red ACD. My daughter named her after the moon in Bear and the Big Blue House. She just turned 9. She is our protector. Luna is a very loving dog but I wouldn't cross her. She had breast cancer in 2003 but had a lumpectomy and seems to be fine now.
Cielo (or CC) is our blue ACD. She is our special needs dog. Cielo is afraid of other people and other animals and will usually hide when we have company. She will bark, hide and pee (all at the same time) if she thinks there is a threat. Hubby calls her the Attack Chicken. She has been known to fully attack a vacuum (without peeing). She has a weird personality, but is very loving with us. If she is outside, sometimes she refuses to come in so I have to run the vacuum. She also growls at me if I kiss or hug my husband. I think she is jealous. She also has been having seizures so maybe that has something to do with it.
Both don't understand they are dogs, they think they are people:

Alert | Dogs: Chewy- (Chewbacca) 8 year old male Chihuahua Jack Russell mix, 18lbs Yeti-5 year old female Chihuahua mix, 13lbs Cats: Nello-12 year old male orange tabby, 13lbs and not fat!
