 Alert | Lucy, when you read about Christmas decorations being vandalized, kids driving tractors over other people's homes, and graffiti showing up all over the place, that comment isn't so far off base. I compare that to the same mentality that people have when they get a dog an chain it outside or get a cat and their only interaction with the animal is to leave a bowl of food outside on the patio.
My point is that if you're going to have either a child or a pet, you have to make a commitment to at least take care of them properly.

Alert | It is sad some do not take care of either. We don't mind the cat visiting when we are out, but please keep the damn cat in your house at night. It was by all of our windows last night screaming to come in. Needless to say we did not sleep well all night. I think we will take the cat to the pussy farm and mybe they will find it a home, not near ours.

Alert | | It will be one month this week that the cat came to our house when her own house is 2 doors down. Anyway, I tried to talk to the people today, with the cat in hand I walked to their house knocked on the door, heard someone cough and they turned up the TV and Never anwered the door. I like the cat fine but am not able to train another one and mine does not like it being here. So we will take it somewhere and hope they find it a good home. I still am not sleeping with it scratching the glass doors, meowing, crying and howling so loud I am sure her owners can hear. I went 3 times last night to just let her in only she would not and as soon as I got back to sleep she started in again....1 hour 20 minutes of sleep last night!!!!! | | | |

Alert | | After reading of all the cats and dogs people are finding..why do they get a pet in the first place???? It takes a commitment to have a pet, if you are not willing to do that, then do us all a favor and don't get one. | | | |
