Pretty sure I know who owns that cat. They live on Caven but are not home this weekend. Can you keep her safe for a couple of days?
Sound like the same kitten? http://www.85239.com/FORUM/tabid/60/forumid/28/postid/74681/view/topic/Default.aspx

They were only home 1 day. They're in Hawaii now. They DID call me from Hawaii to tell me it doesn't match the description fo their grey kitten that went missing a couple of weeks ago though.

Any other suggestions as to what we should do with her? We cannot keep her we already have a cat. She will not go away and meows at the doors and windows if she is out. Hence we named her "Gabby". She is a very loving and well behaved cat, loves to sit in your lap and watches TV with you.
Thanks for your help in trying to find her home.
Happy Holidays.

If you take her to a vet for vaccinations & to see if she's spayed (if not, get her spayed) you'll have a better chance @ finding a home for her. If you send me pics & a bio, I can post her on PetSocialWorker.org for you. You can also do a google/yahoo search for "cat rescues phoenix" and you'll find many rescues that you can call to see if they can take her in. In the spring they will fill up incredibly fast but you may have a better chance of getting her into rescue this time of year. It may take many repeat phone calls & emails, but it can be done.

Hey Bubba,

I know you've said you can't take on another cat, but please consider doing so with this one. It sounds like she has adopted you and is very happy in your home. Believe me, I understand the concept of not being able to take on one more cat. Our family has grown from two cats to seven in just under a year. Thought I could rescue them and adopt them out, but unfortunately there's so many more cats and kittens than there are good homes for them.

A great resource you might consider for low cost veterinary care is an organization called Cat Nip and Tuck. Their website is http://www.catnipandtuck.org/ I've had two of our cats spayed/neutered through this program and was very pleased. The cost for a neuter is about $20 and a spay is around $35. Vaccinations are also quite reasonable.

If, however, I haven't convinced you to keep this little one, you might consider contacting Cactus Cats Rescue at 480-814-8801. They may be able to take her off your hands, if they have room, or perhaps work out a plan for you to foster her until they can find her a home. Ask for June when you call.

Gegenheimer's right... you've been adopted. You know, we said when we got cats number two, three, four, and five that we couldn't handle another. I couldn't imagine being without any of them. You guys sound like great people and I hope you're able to keep her.

You are exactly right! She will stay with us, I just hope someone else is not sad they do not have her anymore. We have been trying to find her family only to realize WE are her family.
Merry Christmas.

Cat Nip Tuck Rocks!
Also consider the MASH Clinic that is coming again in Feb or early March (Jan 9th is booked solid already!) As soon as I book the date, I will let you all know. MASH also accepts the $50 vouchers that Pinal County AC&C gives to anyone who asks. Just call 520-866-7600 (push 0 to speak to an operator) and ask if vouchers are available this month. They come in each month in limited supply. All you have to do it go down to AC&C and get one. With cats, it almost pays the entire spay/neuter fee through MASH.

Sorry Bubba, that doesn't sound like our cat. We are willing to foster though, if you need help.

Okay how funny is this???? The cat we found belongs to our neighbors 2 doors down!!!! They brought it home 3 weeks ago and that is when it came to our house and never left. They asked us yesterday if the cat had been bothering us.. WHAT??? We brought the cat back to them when we were going to bed since it would not stop scratching our glass door and meowing so loud we could not stand it. This morning it was back, as soon as I opened the garage door to get the paper it ran right in, so I put it back out but it will not leave. Don't understand if you want a cat, why do you not take care of it???
