Does anyone know of a kitten that needs a good home? Kimberly is on the look out for me, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a litter that is almost ready to go home?
Thanks
Kerry

Awwwww - really? (YAY!)

Yes, please let me know. I have been busy this afternoon doing my research, I have contacted lots of pet rescue groups and heard some sad stories of some little kitties that are desperately waiting for their forever home.

"Kiki" is a very sweet little girl - I went and met her this afternoon, she was very playful and a fluffy ball of fun!! She is going to the vet tomorrow - so my fingers are crossed that she is healthy so that I can bring her home for Christmas!!

Kerry....Is this an addition or did something happen to your other beautiful kitty??? I remember you had a sweet kitty and she seemed young. Maybe you are getting her a friend?

Kitty is getting a friend - hopefully!! (That's why I have to make sure that any other animal that I bring into the house is healthy, to make sure that nothing gets passed on to her).

Good! I was worried for a minute and didn't really want to ask, but I remembered your sweet kitty to be young and healthy. You have to take this precious little one....I just want to kiss her sweet face.

I have three and they are great company for each other. The youngest here in my avatar is such a mama's boy. He follows me around and is my little angel!

Does Kiki have extra toes or just big paws?

TC - your avatar is so incredibly cute!!! I am hoping that it works out too, and that Kitty doesn't freak when the new little one comes into the house.

It's funny that you should say that nursiegirl - I thought the same thing when I saw those pictures. In actual fact she is a lot smaller in person and her paws are quite tiny in fact. She is just very photogenic!

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes!!! (fingers crossed)

Awww, that kitten looks almost identical to mine and my moms kittens. We just recently got brother kittens from the same litter and they are fluffy gray and white but with blue eyes. So cute and hope you enjoy her. I know my kitten is a little lover. It did take time for my other kitten (female) to accept the new little one but now they are friends and play almost all the time.

Kerry,

I've had a handful of cats and they all seemed to freak to some degree when I brought a new one home. My last one, Minerva, came into the house, beat up the dogs with the sideways hiss and razor kitten claws, and stalked the older cat, Blade. This baby cat knew no fear. She even let the dogs carry her around in their mouths.

It took about six months for the older cat to accept her. Blade was cantankerous to begin with so it's his nature to dislike everything. But now Minnie has him wrapped and he grooms her and lets her eat first. He's so whipped. I just wanted to encourage you that if you have a problem with their attitudes, to give it some time.

I believe it was about 6mos. or so for my elderly male to except the new young female that we brought into our home too. Be patient & do some research about how to introduce them to each other & everything will be fine. I recommend 2 litterboxes immediately to avoid your other cat refusing to use the box w/ the kitten.

Please keep me in the loop! I love happy endings. Also, if you want her chipped, just let me know.

I'm so excited for you all Kerry. I know we have talked extensively about the new kitty, but remember we are all just a mouse click or a phone call away.

We are really excited too! Thanks for all your support and encouragement!! We are definitely going to take our time introducing kitty to the new little one, and keep them separate for a while. The kitten has her first shots next week and then she will come to our house on the 23rd (I'm going to try and hide her from Joshua until the 25th!!)
I will let you know about microchipping her Kimberly and I will e-mail you about getting her neutered - I know that I need to do that , it's been a crazy few days!! Ahhhh!!!!!
