 Alert | OK, I'm going to start by saying DO NOT FREAK OUT!
I've been having some troubles w/ keeping up on all the lost/found pets here in our City. I get many calls/emails daily and I answer or return each and every one. I also try to post here & in other locations about the situation to try to get the pets homes or back home. Seems as though I've started spending as much (if not more time) w/ the rescue than actually doing my actual paid job or w/ my family. There are nights I DREAM rescue, SO, starting January 1st, I'll most likely not be posting here too much more. I'm working on partnering w/ the Vets, Feed Stores, City. County & other Pet Professionals in Maricopa to have one centralized location to go for Lost & Found critters. Letters have been sent out & Press Releases are being written. By January 1st, PetSocialWorker.org should hopefully be "the place to go" if you've lost your pet or if you've found one.
I could not be more appreciative to 85239.com and other local forums for allowing us all to post what we need to get animals off our streets & back into homes. This Pets Section has been better than I could have ever dreamed it could have been when I asked Scott to add it to the forum a long time ago. He added it for us all w/out hesitation.
By having one central location it will allow me to type in one set of instructions or information that will be uploaded immediately. I'll also have an RSS feed to two other locations that will automatically list what I've typed. Very cool! It will eliminate the need for me to type & retype & repeat myself multiple times daily.
Please, by all means, continue to post what you need to here as well. This section is helpful to many for more than just lost & found! | | | |

Alert | Getting closer to the 1st of the year!
The vets have the updated info. about where I'll be posting lost & found pets and the county & city are on board. Press releases out soon! I'm very excited about this. Hoping it will streamline things & have a "one stop shopping" type of place to go if you've lost / found an animal. | | | |
