Alert | | It kinda looks like a cement mixer. Could be just what we need for our four cats.

Alert | | Now I'm intrigued about this Litter Robot! I have a biggie size Litter Maid...and guess who's the litter maid? Still me...sigh. Not only do the rake things clump, as others have echoed, but my cats like to scratch at the edge of the liner, letting kitty, um, tinkle, underneath. In my best Napoleon Dynamite voice - GROSS! | | <---Look, Ma! I sit, I stay, I match the carpet!

Alert | | For those not ready to put up the big bucks you might try the Omega Paw Self Cleaning Litter Box. You simply roll it over and the clumps fall into a drawer which is pulled out and you can toss the contents. Esentially the same as the litter robot but you actually have to roll it yourself. We have two kitties and it never takes me more then 10 seconds to clean the box. No need to touch any litter or to scoop and it's very affordable.

Oh yes! I'd forgotten about that one....and now that you're posting about this type of box and I take a closer look at your avatar, I know EXACTLY who you are! - You're the only customer of mine that uses this type of box. It's exactly the same concept as the LitterRobot, just on a "manual" scale. Very cool & effective w/ the little drawer & all. My only problem w/ it in my own home is that I'd keep forgetting to roll it over! I LOVE it @ your house though! I also love the litter sifting liners that one of my customer's has. Just lift up the 4 edges, shake a little & all the clean litter sifts through to the newer liners & you throw all the clumps away in the old liner.

Alert | No type of manual litterbox would work in my house. My cats are WAY too fussy about their litterbox. If it isn't 100% clean at any given moment, they will boycott it! If there's one little pile, they consider the whole litterbox to be unfit for their paws and butts - it makes no difference if it's their own mess or the other cats mess. . . anything but perfectly clean simply won't do. There's no way to keep up with that with a manual litterbox - even if I cleaned it several times a day (which would never happen!).
Although, Scamp doesn't seem to mind Kuma's mess in the dog run - I know she does her business out there sometimes (which is one of the reasons I'm glad my dog run is completely secure, so she can't get out of it - I knew not to believe all the people who told me she wouldn't be able to get through the heavy, magnetic dog door double flaps - they don't know that cat - she can get pretty much wherever she darn well wants to get - not gracefully, but she'll get there).

Alert | LOL mine are little princesses too. I manage not to forget or I would have little presents in the house. Luckiily my girls have never felt the need to make a point. But Kimerly you most definitely have your hands full as it is!!
We actually had two boxes at one time and they would use the upstairs one to do poopies. I am at home alot right now and they have gotten used to frequent cleanings. If it's dirty they just stand in front of it and look at me like "excuse me, servant girl this is unfit for our use".
