Alert | I saw the one you sent Friday? Was that the only one? Patton is better. Stitches are coming out Tuesday. He is slowing returning to his nornal self. I am going to work with JillyBean to reintroduce him to dogs outside the house again. My sadness over the situation has turned into anger over the fact that I cannot walk freely in my neighborhood. | | Formerly known as 'greytxracers' "My greyhound is smarter than your honor student"

I'm glad Patton is doing better, speedy recovery to him. You should consider thinking about carrying a Stun Baton, that is YOUR Neighborhood too! Check out this link:

Alert | It is my understanding that this dog that attacked your dog, is no longer living in the neighbohood. You can call AC&C yourself....but I have to believe she was telling me the truth. Having the two incidents in one week is pretty scary. I am relieved the Pit is gone! When walking my neighbor's dog....I will carry something and use it if needed if we are ever approached by an aggressive dog that is not on a leash. I don't ever want to be in the situation you experienced.
I hope you and Patton both recover from your ordeal....it will take time!
I certainly hope that dog owner paid your vet bills!!!!

Alert | AZreplanet the street is 4200 block on W Oakland Dr. Also the house with the pit just had a brand new baby from what shermanator told me. now that's scary as in one day that could have attacked that child. I walked past that house today with my guard up and I walked my greyhound with a BIG HEAVY coat on due to the cold and I was ready for taken that dog down but I found out from a friend that the pit no longer lives there. So I wonder what other incident this dog caused? I agree this is my neighborhood, my street as well and I shouldn't have to live in fear. He has a sticker on his car that says "Don't blame the breed, Blame the Deed" and a bunch of other Pit decals on it. After the incident my friend Kelly (Shermanator) was brave enough and came up Oakland to come give me a surprise visit. Even though she came the long way but I was so happy to see her, Sherman and poor Patton. Also I was telling her that in the Communicator in the Sheriff's log about 1-2 years ago there was a incident on Oakland where a Pit chased a man into his home, so I wonder........ Also I called the HOA gal regarding a letter I received and when I told her Oakland Dr she asked about the dog attack and I told her yes it was my friend's dog that got attacked and she said she wanted the people's address with the pit and asked me if my friend's Greyhound was ok. So since I live on Oakland Dr, I got to find out about that Pit if it's there or not.....

Alert | I bet if you really check the records....you will find more on this dog and other incidents. I don't think this was the first time something like this happened. The dog wasn't even provoked....just attacked her dog while she walked it on a leash. Strange? Yes, very strange!!!!
I certainly hope her vet bills were paid!!!!
You can call AC&C...they assured me the dog has been removed.
