Does anyone know the number that I can contact to complain about my neighbors non stop barking dogs?!!!
I am an animal lover and I do NOT understand how people leave their dogs outside 24 hours a day regardless of the weather! This is ridiculous I cannot even open my windows because the non stop barking wakes the kids! Someone please help for the kids' sake!! Thanks

Call the police. Maybe the dogs are barking because something is wrong at the residence. If not, they will know that the barking is bothering someone. Chances are, they don't care.

You may want to write the owners a letter first and let them know. They may be outside becuase they have a dog door. This happened to me a couple of years ago when I was always at work and had no idea that they were barking. The cops came and gave us a ticket and so I video taped them one day and found out that they were very annoying., I felt horrible and got a trainner and now I am always home so it is all better now but I wished that the neighbors would have told me first and I would have worked on it then.

From personal experience.. write a note and let them know the dogs are barking all the time...IF you get no response then I would call Brian- Pet Social worker gave me the number and I have it in my phone book which I STILL have not found in the move! (but thats another post! lol) If I find it I will post it. With our situation the owner was out and left the dogs in the care of someone who didnt do such a hot job. I was afraid the dogs were left alone without food or water-for a couple of days...so I did the call after I walk over to the house and got no response.

I know it can be very frustrating... Good luck

Thank you guys for your advice. I will write the owner a note first though I do not think it will do any good. The backyard is full of stuff the dogs have chewed up and doggy doo!!! Some people, they should be forced to live like this...who said animals have no feelings!!

I understand your fustration about owners of barking dogs. I called the police, they don't care. I called the Pinal County Animal Control and they came back and said the owners said that they never leave their dogs outside. It is a displeasing sound. Owners of barking dogs are non-caring people and they think other people owe them everything. Thank you for reading ... it's been a while that I haven't heard of a person being annoyed by barking dogs. Happy that I am not alone. If there is anything I can do, please let me know, like petition or something

Maybe there are other neighbors whose dogs are barking. It seems you are targeting just 1 person. Dogs’ bark. That is how they communicate. Dogs chew things up especially if they are puppies. Do you smell the poop in the backyard? They have 3 dogs & the dogs tend to poop a couple times a day. The poop can pile up after a few days when you have 3 dogs. The dogs are in no way neglected. They have food, water, pools, & shade. What would be worse - the dogs being locked in the house during the day with no where to run & blow off their energy or having an inconvenience to you that they are outside barking.

I know the house & the people you are referring to. They work & do not want their dogs locked up all day inside the house. Do you not have anything better to do than watch what the neighbors dogs are doing all day? There are houses on either side of this "neighbor" that have dogs & they bark too. Are you putting notes on every door?

I would take a look at yourself before you go blasting someone else. Next time you & your husband want to "go at it" all night in your back yard, you should make sure your neighbors can't hear you.

Dang.. for a minute there I thought you were talking about ME! but then I realized that our dogs don't bark and are indoor dogs.

Dang what a way to put your Neighbor on BLAST!... ha ha ha ha ha I would video tape them in the back yard going at it and Put it on YOUTUBE.... ha ha ha ha ha ha .

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

By "going at it" do you mean fighting or getting "it" on? Then definitely video tape it! Neighborly love!

They were getting it on. The husband must be Superman because it went on for a couple of hours.

Actually Family Guy, I do have my own "Man of Steel". I just don't let the whole neighborhood know when we have "goning at it".

My guess is that the barking dogs are probably barking at someone or something. I have seen kids throw rocks over a fence just to get dogs to bark. Maybe there is a reason that the dogs bark. Dogs may bark at other dogs, or at strange noises. Usually dogs do not just bark "because". I have left notes to problem horse owners with a possible reason, a solution to the problem -if you will. I personally would try to be part of the solution for the problem, if not- the person may just blow you off. I have found that people are quite responsive to constructive critizism rather than just being complained to. Are the dogs truely neglected- are they emaciated, do they have water and shade, are they on a dirt lot or tied up? Maybe the people do not realize that the dogs are being a nusance.
As far as the other "noises"...wow- that is one lucky couple!! Good luck!

The dogs are kept outside during the day while the owners are at work. The couple who is complaining has done it outside once. They have a ppol & spa. I guess after relaxing in the spa they felt the need to let all the neighbors know what a happy couple they are.

Annoyed by barking dogs?????? Aren't there a lot worse things going on in this world? I feel sorry for you. Saying that owners of barking dogs are "non-caring people" is as stupid as saying that parents of a crying baby are as you put it "non-caring people." If that is the case then I must be the worst parent in the world. Dogs bark and babies cry, it is all they know how to do.

One more thing, how do you even have enough time on your hands to create a petition over something as stupid as barking dogs? Go out for a walk or something because you obviously need a hobby!!!!!!!!!
