Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in having a group dog obedience class out here in Maricopa?

Yes, but Sundays work better for me than Saturdays. I usually work on Saturday

i'd love to get involved in this, our 6 month old puppy desperately needs it (especially at the rate he's growing, he'll outweight me soon) but it is really hard to commit with an infant in the house.

what is paws for reflection?</div>

Paws for Reflection is "People Training for Dogs"
She's been a dog trainer (or people trainer) here in town for the past few years. She does individual lessons in your home or group classes.

Yes, we've worked with Troy with our Lab and it's been a wonderful experience for our dog and the family! Stay tuned and we'll see if we can get Troy to set something up for us here in Maricopa!

What if there were to be a Canine Good Citizen obedience class offered? With a CGC test for the last class so that each dog earns its Canine Good Citizen certificate?
It could be on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am - 9:00 am.
If you want to see what is involved in the CGC test log on to akc.org.
I would be willing to teach this class and I think we have a CGC evaluator right in Maricopa.

Sign me up! How much for the class? Would it need one person to one dog or could one person do two dogs?

Its better to have one dog to one person. Maybe you could talk a family member into working with the other dog.
Go to www.paws-for-reflection.com and send me a contact.

Also, talk to your friends and encourage them to join us. If we have enough interest we could do two classes.

Count me in, although I'd be happy to just get the dog to sit, stay, come and lay down most of the time-LOL

my boxer is a obedience class flunky...actually she was asked to leave the class for getting the other dogs "excited" SO she needs 1-on-1 training. My Boston terrier has issues with the leash...once you put it on she lays down DEAD until you disconnect the leash...she has been this way since she was a puppy!! The only "good" dog is my male boxer...he was a rescue from the boxer rescue-where they did some training while the dogs were "incarcerated"
(its actually quite comical to see the Boston terrier laying still on her back! LOL)
