He sounds like quite the rabbit. He will be residing in the chicken yard. He will have a view of the area where the blacktail and cottontail rabbits come to eat.

DD - do you have any ide how many animals allow you to live at your house (with as outnumbered as you are, I'm sure they'd be able to claim possession of your property quite easily if they chose to)?

Yeah, the current census is three dogs, four cats, twelve chickens, two pigs, and two goats. I am probably the reason the county came up with that new zoning ordinance

Do you remember the book Animal Farm by Orwell?

UPDATE....sorry D.D.....

We were away last Fri. till Mon. ....my son put out a carrot Sat and it was eaten...but we have not seen Mr. Bunny..since then...My son did say the neighborhood kids were trying to catch him...maybe that's what drove him away...I hope!

Unfortunately, I never got a response to my email about borrowing the cat traps.
But if I do see him again does anyone have a similar humane trap I could borrow?

Eric...have you seen him??????

No problem. He's one lucky rabbit. Most of the time around here there are so many things that consider rabbits food that they don't last long on their own. Let me know if you round him up.

I just found another bunny today in my front yard in Rancho El Dorado. He's very very tame and currently residing in my backyard so he doesn't get hurt. Anyone missing near Bunker Drive? My husband & I can't keep and I can only hold for a short time...please post a reply if you are missing or know someone who is missing.
