MARICOPA - A man who purchased a foreclosed home site unseen said he was shocked when he discovered the remnants of what the Arizona Humane Society says could be a pit bull fighting ring.
"I really didn't even pay attention to this building and one day I walked in it and that's when we found the fighting pit and the place where they throw the dead dogs," the homeowner, Bruce Jaynes, told ABC-15.
The home's back yard was riddled with 35 chains, each attached to steel poles and planted in the ground. Jaynes discovered six wooden cages in a nearby shed, along with a blood-stained cloth attached to a chain and a manmade pit dug into the floor, where he thinks people threw carcasses.

A spokeswoman with the Arizona Humane Society said the evidence and the rural location suggest a dog-fighting ring.

Jaynes said the images are disturbing, but he plans to clean up the property so all evidence is removed.

A spokesman with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said there is little that can be done because of the lack of evidence, no way to contact the previous homeowners and the length of time that's passed.

Serves the buyer right; He bought the property "Sight Unseen".
Deserves what he gets.

Something is fishy here. The Casa Grande Dispatch is at trivalleycentral.com. casagrandedispatch.com appears to be a parked web site. google it.

How is there "no way" to find suspects in a criminal investigation?

ABC 15 and the Dispatch articles make it sound pretty bad. Now read the entire thread I inserted above. That will give you a better idea about the source of the information.

Yes I read it as it was going on. I am sure it is someone looking for their 15 minutes of fame but it could be true and the guy just doesn't know how to handle anyone questioning him.
