Alert | This is for the Pet Social Worker. I haven't found the owner of the dog we found (or who found us) and I called both the vets also as you suggested. Since the Pet clinic is coming up Friday, I'm wondering if we should take him there or just wait? I'm pretty sure we got all of the ticks off of him, there were numerous!<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/blink.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Blink' align='absmiddle'> Rose

Alert | Hi Rose - Well, it's never a bad idea to vaccinate a stray dog, so I say go for it. If I remember correctly, you've called the county w/ the dogs description and called both vets. If you've posted signs & no one has claimed the dog after 6 days, he becomes your property, so you can keep him, or adopt him out if you can find a good family. Totally up to you!
