Alert | | My friend found a Blue Heeler puppy out in Queen Creek that someone just dumped off. We hate to see it go to a Pet Rescue or Humane Society but he can not keep it and I can not due to my other 2 dogs already in the household. If you can help out or know of anyone who can please let me know. Thanks.

Alert | I know you're opposed to using a rescue (although I'm not sure why) but New Hope Cattle Dog rescue is incredible. They have foster homes here in Maricopa & they've helped me before w/ dumped Heelers. Great people.

Alert | Rescues are much different than the Pound. Rescues keep dogs in foster homes and care for them until a home can be found regardless of how long it takes. They don't take in more dogs than they can house. They get to know the dogs and the families that want to adopt and take the time to match up the right dogs to the right families. They do home visits and whatever else is necessary to make sure that the dogs that they rescue go to great forever homes. Rescues are GREAT.
While going to the pound ends up as a death sentance for many dogs, going to a rescue is a second chance at a wonderful life.
