This product is AMAZING!
From the website:
EMT Gel is an all-natural gel containing a natural medical hydrolysate Type I collagen as its active ingredient. It interacts with the wound site maintaining a moist environment that encourages wound healing.
Collagen provides the matrix for new cell growth. It acts as a tissue adhesive, helps to prevent bacterial infection and reduces the potential of scarring.
EMT Gel:
* Reduces bleeding * Reduces pain * Soothes and deodorizes * Can be used on both large and small animals * Is safe, non-toxic and non-sensitizing
EMT Gel can be used for the safe management of wounds caused by:
* Barbed wire cuts * Hot spots * Scratches and abrasions * Gunshot wounds (hunting accidents) * Clipping nicks * Heat injuries * Injured pads * Surgical incisions and more
EMT Gel is an essential part of any first aid kit.
EMT Gel is easy to handle and conforms to any wound site. | | Tens of THOUSANDS of pure-bred dogs are killed in shelters in the Us EVERY YEAR!

Alert | It sounds like they might carry it at Bass Pro shop up in Tempe. (I've been wanting to go there.)
A friend at work (breeder judge) keeps this on hand to use on hot spots and such. She called it a miracle. When you have a menagerie like...small terriers, Saint Bernards and one rescue chi, it can come in handy.

Poor baby girl. A nice warm washcloth might be soothing, while helping to wash off dried blood. How are the pain meds holding up for her? Tell her Patton loves her, and misses her. Hee hee.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Sweet little Cherry Berry. | | Formerly known as 'greytxracers' "My greyhound is smarter than your honor student" | |
