 Alert | | My dogs got into a fight when we were out to dinner.. One dog has a small cut on the corder of her eye and it won't strop bleeding because she keeps pawing at it.. I REALLY don't want to take her to the E-vet because nothing requires stitches.. I just need to collar to stop her from pawing at it.. HELP!! | |

Alert | We used cardboard and some ribbon.. I think it will be fine until tomorrow when we can get to Petsmart to get one.. Thanks..
Now off to mop all my tile.. My living room looks like a slaughter house. | |

Alert | She seems OK.. She's got a cut on her cheek that's not through to the teeth.. I put some EMT gel (http://emtgel.com/) on that cut and the small one on the inner corner of her eye had stopped bleeding.. It look bad because of where it is but the actual wound isn't that bad.. my DH is going to pick up that E-collar and is stopping off at a friend's house to get some pain meds for her. Poor baby! She's a Fawn so the blood on her face looks so gory! Her Daddy (my DH) is devastated! She's his baby girl and her beautiful face is so scary looking.. She's such a good girl though..
I'm just so scared to take her to the E-vet and have them tell me she needs a stitch, which she probably doesn't and have them have to put her under.. Greyhounds don't tolerate anesthetic very well at all.. And u person unfamiliar with greyhounds could easily kill them.. Not to mention it usually takes days for them to fully recover.
We're going to keep it clean and watch it closely. If needed we'll take her to my normal vet Monday. | |

Alert | Wow, thats pretty crazy. Let me know if you have any questions. I am pretty with dogs and wounds as we have three dogs (all different breeds). Three girls, the all think they are in charge.
