 Alert | | Female dog was found in Senita, she obviously recently had puppies and is in front of my house, she seems to also have injured her paws from running? I am assuming cause of the heat, very friendly, if you can house her or help find her owner, I am leaving town VERY soon, pretty much when my husband gets home my number is 520-568-4038 | |

Alert | This little sweetie is now with me. . .
But, she can't stay here too long because my cats barely can handle my 1 dog and will go nuts with another dog loose in the house - they're about to rebel! Because of this, she has to pretty much stay outside, which isn't too horrible for the night, but won't be good during the day!
I'm not sure what breed she is, but if you're missing a medium sized dog, please call and describe her see if she's yours! 480-252-3988.
Or if you can foster her, please call!!!
I will be filing found dog reports at AC&C and both vets and will have her scanned to see if she has a chip in the morning (unless someone with a scanner can do it tonight w/ Kimberly out of town).
After a very short adjustment, she seems to like other dogs and wants to play. Not sure how she is with cats because I haven't let her get near mine. | | | |

Alert | Along with having no collar & no tags, this girl has no microchip. I do have an idea what breed she is now though.

Alert | An update on "Sweet pea", the dog that Jodypag found. We have had her since my wife picked her up at Tiggs yesterday, and she is a sweetheart (hence the name). She's smart, cute, and very affectionate. I can't imagine that some family isn't going nuts looking for her, but so far we've heard nothing.
Usually when we find a pet, we let the owner describe it so that it doesn't go to someone who just wanted a free dog. In this case, I am going to post a picture later today in hopes that someone recognizes her and may know where she belongs. She has had pups recently, but doesn't seem distressed to be without them. Tigg and I talked and we agree that it's best to do everything we can to either find her home or find her a home as soon as possible. | |

Alert | | Did anybody bother looking for her puppies ? I am the first person to suggest helping any animal you find, but if she has clearly had puppies recently, they need to have been found before you snatched her up. they wont have lasted more then a few hours in the sun without her. | |

Alert | | It didn't appear that she was missing her puppies. It's likely that she's been separated from them from some time. She has been to the vet, weighed, scanned for a chip. Both the vets were notified and the County AC&C was also called. | |

Alert | As DD said, it appears that she has been away from her puppies for some time and does not seem to be looking for them. While it would have been best if her puppies had been found as well, we were not able to locate them. When she was found, she was not chased and captured, she walked up to Jody's house and asked to be found.
If you know who may be missing "Sweet Pea" please let them know to look here or call either of the vets in town (or AC&C) so that she can be reunited with them.

Alert | SweetPea is at AC&C now. She went into heat while we had her, and we couldn't keep her contained short of tying her up. She is a great dog and would make someone a good companion. She loves to go for rides and really loves dog toys. She's always ready for a tummy rub and is a fantastic cuddler. This dog was someone's pet for a long time - I can't believe nobody's looking for her.
If someone is interested in adopting her from AC&C, I will pay for her spay and transport her to get it done. | |
