I'm thinking that it's person preferance. I know people who like either or both of the vets here. Personally I'm about ready to give up. I miss Dr. G. Good luck.

I have a great one in Chandler. Closest location doesn't always mean the best. If you are willing to drive about 20 minutes here is his info.

He is amazing and so very caring too!!!!!

Dr. Hudman at Kennel Care is awesome. I have a male boxer that is not very comfortable around males. Dr. Hudman got down on the ground and played with him before the exam, and my boxer was putty in his hands.

I have also been to Maricopa Wells Vet over in the Basha's strip mall. It was fine there too, but I have had all the major stuff done at Kennel Care.

We've used both Maricopa vets and we're happy with both of them. We have had real good luck with same day walk in at Maricopa Vet Hospital.

don't waste your time at the one by Anytime Fitness. Maricopa Wells Animal Hospital I think it's called. Nothing but bad experiences there.

If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

I agree with the recomendations for Dr. Hudman! He hasn't seen my kitties yet, but he was GREAT with Kuma and is great at going over anything that needs explaining regarding your pets care.

You can tell immediately that he really cares about the animals that he takes care of and is very knowledgable about them as well.

I've had really good experiences at both local vets.

Call both & get a "feel" for which one you like if you'd like to stay local.
Maricopa Wells - 568-6645
Maricopa Animal Hosp. - 568-2224

both are within a 1/2 mile of each other. Both have 2 female vets on staff. Both open Mon - Saturday.

I have only heard wonderful things about Dr. Hudman. I have customers who use Kennel Care and who are very pleased w/ the care they receive for their pets. I've not personally met him.

We went to Maricopa Animal Hospital (the one next to Chitwoods) for the first time last week and saw Dr. Kelly Anderson. We were REALLY happy with her -- she got down on the floor with our dog and spent some time REALLY looking her over and making sure that our dog had a positive vet experience. We will definitely go back.

Dr. Anderson just adopted a rescue dog too, so she's OK in my book!

I have to keep an eye on expenses right now, so I try my best to wait for the travelling vet. The last friday of every month at the Stage Stop.
I'm not a fan of Maricopa Wells, but I'm OK with Maricopa Animal Hosp. near Chitwoods.

Hey I work at Maricopa Wells and I must say that everyone does have a preferance in who takes care of there animals and they should. You should feel good about going to the vet. I am not just saying this becasue I work there but I have never felt better about anyone taking care of my aniamals like Dr Villalba, she has help countless animals even when Owners have given up. She has so much compasion and dedication. Every office has there ups and downs with staff and so forth but I must say that right now our staff is amazing, everyone has a great attitude and a love for animals. I hope everyone finds what there looking for and has a fantasic day!!!!! <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/w00t.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='w00t' align='absmiddle'>
